Exporting Reports
Generate and export training reports in various formats
Overview
The reporting system allows you to:
- View training analytics and dashboards
- Generate compliance reports for regulators
- Export data in PDF, CSV, and Excel formats
- Filter reports by various criteria
Accessing Reports

Open the Reports Section
- Log in as an Admin
- Click Admin in the navigation menu
- Select Reports

Choose Report Type
The reports page offers different views:
- Enhanced Export - Detailed, filterable reports
- Executive Summary - High-level overview
- Course Performance - Course-specific analytics
- Compliance Reports - Regulatory-focused reports
Report Types Available
Executive Summary
High-level metrics including:
- Total users and active learners
- Overall completion rates
- Training hours completed
- Compliance status overview
Course Performance
Detailed view of each course:
- Enrollment numbers
- Completion rates
- Average scores
- Time to complete
Department Reports
Breakdown by department:
- Department-level completion rates
- Overdue training by department

Filtering Reports
Date Range
- Set the start date
- Set the end date
- Report updates to show data for that period
Department Filter
- Select specific departments
- Or choose "All Departments"
- View department-specific data
Location Filter
- Filter by work location
- Useful for multi-site organisations
Job Title Filter
- Filter by specific roles
- See how different groups perform

Step-by-Step: Exporting a Report
- Configure your filters (date range, department, etc.)
- Preview the data to ensure it's correct
- Click the Export button
- Select your preferred format

- Download when ready

Understanding Report Data
Completion Status Values
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Completed | User has finished the course |
| Passed | User completed with passing score |
| In Progress | User has started but not finished |
| Not Started | User hasn't begun the course |
| Expired | Certification has expired |
Key Metrics
- Completion Rate: Percentage of assigned users who completed the course
- Average Score: Mean score across all completions
- Time to Complete: Average time from start to finish
- Overdue Count: Users who haven't completed by due date
Tips for Effective Reporting
Choose the Right Date Range
- For trends: Use longer periods (quarterly, yearly)
- For compliance snapshots: Use current date
- For audits: Use the audit period
Use Consistent Filters
When comparing periods:
- Keep department/location filters the same
- Note any filter changes in your analysis

Troubleshooting
Report takes long to generate
Large data exports may take time. For very large exports:
