Adding Frameworks
Set up compliance frameworks for your organisation
Overview
Compliance frameworks help you:
- Group related training requirements together
- Track compliance against regulatory standards
- Generate framework-specific reports
- Demonstrate compliance to auditors
Common Compliance Frameworks

Creating a Framework

Access Framework Management
- Log in as an Admin
- Go to Admin → Settings
- Click on the Frameworks tab

Add New Framework
- Click Add Framework
- The framework form opens

Configure Details
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Clear framework name (e.g., "Ofsted Requirements") |
| Description | What this framework covers |
| Regulatory Body | The governing body (optional) |
| Status | Active or Inactive |

Add Framework Requirements
Link courses that satisfy this framework:
- Click Add Course
- Select courses from the list
- Mark as Required or Optional
- Add multiple courses as needed

Save Framework
Click Save to create the framework.
Managing Frameworks
Editing a Framework
- Find the framework in the list
- Click Edit
- Update details or linked courses
- Save changes
Adding/Removing Courses
- Open the framework for editing
- Click Add Course to include more
- Click remove/X to exclude courses
- Changes affect compliance calculations
Archiving a Framework
For frameworks no longer needed:
- Edit the framework
- Set status to Inactive
- Historical data is preserved
- No longer appears in active reports
Framework Compliance
How Compliance is Calculated
- Percentage of required courses completed
- Per user and aggregated
- Considers course expiry
- Updates as training is completed
Viewing Compliance
Framework compliance appears in:
- Admin dashboard widgets
- Reports → Compliance section
- Individual user profiles
- Team management dashboard
Compliance Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Compliant | All required courses completed and valid |
| Partially Compliant | Some requirements met |
| Non-Compliant | Key requirements not met |
| Expired | Was compliant but training has expired |
Framework Reports
Generating Framework Reports
- Go to Admin → Reports
- Select Compliance Reports
- Filter by specific framework
- Set date range
- Export as PDF or Excel
What's Included
- Overall compliance percentage
- Per-course completion rates
- Non-compliant users list
- Expiring certifications
- Training gaps
