User Management

Managing users, departments, and permissions

User Management covers who can sign in, what they can do, and how accounts are created or synced. Most day-to-day work happens under Admin → Manage Users. Organisation-wide security and directory setup live under Admin → System Settings on the Security and SSO & Provisioning tabs. Prefer Disable over delete when someone leaves so training history stays intact. Domain Management (signup domains) is separate from SSO Allowed Domains.

Creating Users

Choose individual add, bulk import, onboarding tool, or Azure AD SSO/SCIM.

What are you trying to do?

  • Change roles and permissions

    Admin, manager, and learner access.

  • Password policy & MFA

    System Settings → Security.

  • Disable or reactivate users

Inactive / returning staff without deleting progress.

  • Email domains & personal addresses

Domain Management vs SSO Allowed Domains.

  • Fix SSO or SCIM problems

Redirect errors, consent, and provisioning failures.

Key concepts

  • Active / Inactive is controlled with Enable and Disable on User Management.
  • SSO login and SCIM provisioning are independent features.
  • Personal email domains cannot be claimed in Domain Management — create those users directly.
