Adding and Managing Pages
Create, organise, and manage pages in your course
Overview
Pages are the individual screens in your course. Each page can contain:
- Text content
- Images
- Videos
- Quizzes
- Navigation buttons
Organising pages well creates a logical learning flow.
Page Types
Different page types serve different purposes:
| Page Type | Purpose | Typical Content |

| Welcome | Course introduction | Title, objectives, start button |

| Video | Show video content | Embedded video player |
| Quiz Intro | Prepare for assessment | Instructions, expectations |

Adding a New Page
Click Add Page
In the page list (left panel), click the + Add button.
Choose Page Type
Select a page type:
- Content Page
- Video Page
- Quiz Page
Configure and Edit
New page appears in the list. Click to select and start editing.

Accessing Page Settings
- Select a page in the page list
- With no block selected, Inspector shows page settings
- Or click the page settings icon
Page Properties

Page Titles
Good page titles help you navigate:

Page Layouts
Choose how content is arranged on each page:

Reordering Pages
Drag and Drop
- Click and hold a page in the list
- Drag up or down
- Drop line shows new position
- Release to place
Order Matters
Page order determines:
- Navigation flow (Next/Previous)
- Course progression
- SCORM tracking sequence
Tips for Ordering

Deleting Pages
How to Delete
- Select the page to delete
- Click the Delete (trash) icon
- Confirm deletion
Warning
What Gets Deleted
When you delete a page:
- Page and all its content blocks
- Associated settings
- Quiz questions on that page
Working with Different Page Types
Welcome Page
Purpose: First impression, set expectations
Typical Content: Course title, brief description, learning objectives, "Start Course" button
Tips: Keep it clean and inviting, show estimated time, make objectives clear
Content Pages
Purpose: Deliver learning content
Typical Content: Text explanations, images and diagrams, examples, navigation buttons
Tips: One main topic per page, break up long text, use visuals to support text
Video Pages
Purpose: Show video content
Typical Content: Embedded video, brief intro text, navigation buttons
Tips: Keep videos short (2-5 min), add context before/after, don't rely solely on video
Quiz Pages
Purpose: Assess understanding
Typical Content: Quiz question, answer options, feedback modal
Tips: One question per page, clear unambiguous questions, helpful feedback
Results Page
Purpose: Show assessment outcome
Typical Content: Score display, pass/fail status, next steps, completion message
Tips: Congratulate on pass, encourage retry on fail, clear call to action

Page Count Guidelines

Troubleshooting
Can't add pages
Check you're in edit mode, verify project isn't locked, try refreshing the page.
Pages won't reorder
Ensure you're dragging correctly, check for save errors, try saving first.
Content lost after page type change
Content may not transfer between types. Duplicate page first, then change type on copy.
Quiz pages not working
Ensure quiz was enabled in wizard, check quiz settings, verify question configuration.
