Built-in Course Catalog
Browse and import TrainMeUK pre-built catalog courses, including updates and SCORM overwrite
Overview
Course Catalog lets admins browse TrainMeUK pre-built SCORM courses and import them into your organisation. Import downloads the package, processes it, and opens the course creation form with catalog metadata applied.
Not the learner Training Catalog
This is the admin Course Catalog import UI on Course Management. The learner Training Catalog (sidebar Training Catalog) is where learners browse courses already in your tenant — see Searching the Catalog.
Import a catalog course
1
Open Course Catalog
- Go to Admin → Course Management
- Open Course Catalog
2
Browse and filter
The catalog sidebar includes:
- All Courses
- Essential for Everyone
- Updated Courses
- Categories, Industries, Difficulty
3
Add Course
On a course card, click Add Course. The system imports the SCORM package and opens the course form ready for you to review and save.
Tip
Other card actions you may see: Update, Up to date, and Customize — depending on whether the course is already in your tenant and whether a newer catalog version is available.

Handle duplicates and updates
If the course already exists, dialogs can include:
| Dialog | Typical action |
|---|---|
| Duplicate Course Detected | Choose Overwrite SCORM Content to replace package content |
| Update Course Content | Update a single imported course from the catalog |
| Update All Courses | Bulk update catalog-linked courses when available |
Note
Product copy on update flows states that refreshing catalog content does not affect learner progress or assignments. Confirm the dialog wording before you confirm Update or Overwrite SCORM Content.
After import
- Review title, category, expiry, and assignment settings on the course form before saving.
- Assign the course using normal Course Management flows — see Assigning Courses.
