Downloading Certificates

Download your training completion certificates

Overview

Certificates are available for:

  • Completed e-learning courses
  • Attended instructor-led sessions
  • Completed learning paths
  • External certifications you've added

Finding Your Certificates

Option 1: From Your Profile

  1. Click on your profile/account
  2. Go to the Certificates or Advanced tab
  3. Find the list of your certificates

Option 2: From Completed Training

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Find the Completed Training section
  3. Look for certificate/download icons next to completions

Option 3: From Training History

  1. Access your full training history
  2. Find completed courses with certificates
  3. Use the download option

Types of Certificates

Course Completion Certificates

For e-learning courses you've completed:

  • Shows course name
  • Your name
  • Completion date
  • Score (if applicable)
  • Expiry date (if applicable)

Session Attendance Certificates

For instructor-led sessions you attended:

  • Shows session/course name
  • Your name
  • Session date
  • Trainer name (if applicable)
  • Expiry date (if applicable)

External Certificates

For certifications you've uploaded:

  • Original document you uploaded
  • Shows in your certificate list

Downloading a Certificate

Find the Certificate

Navigate to where your certificates are listed.

Look for Download Option

For each certificate, look for:

  • 📥 Download icon
  • Download button
  • View Certificate option

Click to Download

  1. Click the download button
  2. Certificate generates as a PDF
  3. PDF downloads to your computer
  4. Open to view or print

Save or Print

  • Save the PDF to your files
  • Print if you need a hard copy
  • Email to share with others

Certificate Information

What's Included

A typical certificate shows:

  • Your Name - As registered in the system
  • Certificate Title - Course or session name
  • Date - When you completed
  • Certificate ID - Unique reference number
  • Organisation - Your organisation name
  • Expiry - When it expires (if applicable)

Certificate ID

Each certificate has a unique ID that:

  • Verifies authenticity
  • Allows lookup if needed
  • Provides an audit trail

Expiry Status

Certificates may show expiry information:

StatusMeaning
ValidCurrent and not expired
Expiring SoonApproaching expiry date
ExpiredPast expiry date

If Your Certificate Has Expired

  • Retake the training if required
  • New certificate issued on completion
  • Expired certificates remain in your history

Sharing Certificates

Emailing

  1. Download the PDF
  2. Attach to an email
  3. Send to whoever needs it

Printing

  1. Download the PDF
  2. Open in a PDF viewer
  3. Print using your printer

LinkedIn

Some certificates may have:

  • "Add to LinkedIn" option
  • Shareable link

Certificate Best Practices

Keep Copies

  • Save PDFs to a personal folder
  • Keep backup copies
  • Organise by date or topic

Track Expiry Dates

  • Note when certificates expire
  • Plan to retake training before expiry
  • Set calendar reminders

Provide When Requested

Be ready to share certificates for:

  • Job applications
  • Professional registrations
  • Audits and inspections
  • CPD evidence

Organise Your Files

Tip

Create a folder structure like: My Certificates / 2024 / Health-Safety-Jan2024.pdf

Certificate Troubleshooting

Download button doesn't appear

  • Certificate may still be generating
  • Refresh the page
  • Some courses may not have certificates
  • Check with your admin

Certificate won't download

  • Try a different browser
  • Check your downloads folder
  • Clear browser cache and try again
  • Contact support if persistent

Wrong name on certificate

  • Certificates use your profile name
  • Update your profile if name is incorrect
  • Contact admin for already-issued certificates

Missing certificate

  • Verify the course was completed
  • Check completion status in your history
  • Some training may not include certificates
  • Contact your admin

Certificate shows wrong date

  • Certificates show completion date
  • This is when you finished, not when you started
  • Contact admin if date is incorrect
