Reading & Acknowledging Documents
Find assigned PDFs in Catalog → Documents, read them, and confirm you have understood
Some assignments are PDFs (policies, procedures, forms), not courses with quizzes. Completing them means reading the file and confirming the acknowledgement statement — not downloading a course certificate.
Steps
Open Catalog → Documents
In the learner app, open Catalog and choose the Documents tab.
Check the badge
Needs acknowledgement means you still have to sign this version. Acknowledged means you already signed; you can re-read the current file. Cards also show the type (for example Policy), version (v1.0), document number, and due date.
Read and confirm
Open the PDF, read it, then tick the wording your organisation set (usually “I confirm I have read and understood this document”).
New versions
If a major update is published, the document can return to Needs acknowledgement even if you signed an older version. A change summary may explain what changed.
Admins publish these files from Document Store.
